Boys VS Girls?  Don't rule out a male puppy!  Actually the males are usually more loving and maternal than the females.  I like to say that the girls love you but the boys are in love with you.  So consider a neutered male as your next Cavalier--ask other breeders and pet owners and they will confirm this.  Thank you.

Welcome to our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel Website.
These wonderful little dogs are like potato chips, "It's hard to have just one."  However, before you decide on a Cavalier please do your homework and make sure this dog is right for your family.
Cavaliers need lots of attention as this dog was bred originally to warm the feet of royalty, they enjoy lots of laptime.  You must keep this breed on lead or in a fenced yard because they are so friendly and interested in the world that they will run off to visit everyone and snoop behind every bush.
This breed is prone to several health problems, primarily a heart problem called Mitral Valve Disorder (MVD).  See the link below.  Also as with most breeds they may have eye problems.  Our breeding stock are checked yearly for heart and eye problems.  Make sure the breeder you choose does yearly clearances also.
Most Cavaliers are wonderful with children (and everyone) but you should always monitor your childs play with your puppy/dog to keep both dog and child safe.
